Photo Gifts for Teachers: An End-of-School-Year Thank You

Filed under: Photo Gifts — Photo Sharing Editor @ 11:50 am

We are now well into spring with the Memorial Day holiday fast approaching. Before long, children everywhere will walk out of the doors of their school for the last time this year – eager to enjoy a long summer ahead. Of course for parents, the end of the school year brings many activities and scheduled events; keeping up with everything can certainly be a challenge. One of the things that parents and students often do at the end of the school year is to present their teachers with a small gift to express their gratitude for a great year. This, along with end of the year parties – especially in elementary schools – has become somewhat of a tradition as school closes for the summer.

This presents another challenge as it may seem nearly impossible to buy a gift that will be enjoyed by a teacher but is still affordable. To this end, many parents are discovering the endless opportunities available through photo sharing sites; the opportunities to create sentimental, memorable photo gifts.

For teachers, consider some of the following photo gifts:

* A mug with the class picture on it, along with the year.

* Photo books with each page dedicated to a photo of each child in the class along with a caption created by them.

* A photo calendar that shows group class pictures taking place in events throughout the year.

Photo gifts are more than just a token thank you present; they are a gift that will always remind a teacher of their class. And for teachers just starting their careers – or those nearing the end of it – this can be especially touching.
